hahahahaha yeah i noticed you do some trail running. im reluctant to join simply because i dont know if i can do 10km. so far i've been going in 5km loops in the city so i dont know how my fragile body would react to 10km of trail.... interest is still there.

kristyn ... might i ask where you got that 1000 wsd? tis a nice bike ... Oh boy, I thought you were going to say, "'cause I was thinking of getting one..." Reynolds Cycle in London. They're awesome: tweaked it countless times for me, switched out stems, actually listened when I said, "this torture device is agony to ride," even when all the measurements 'technically' checked out, until it didn't hurt--must have spent hours total fitting it, no charge. I get 15% off anything I buy there, free tune-ups (they even polish the frame. Seriously), and they answer all my silly questions. And about the running: I must stress that I'm very rusty in the high gears. Speed doesn't factor in, except when I get excited going through mud puddles, down hills, or when the men's xc team is in sight (to avoid being trampled). Once upon a time I ran as fast as I could every day, and that time was not good to me. It's just for-fun running, easy pace, lots of mud. Did I mention that I enjoy mud puddles?

reynolds is the bomb.
that place is so huge ... their ability to keep stock is ridiculous. i almost fell down when we went there one day.
oh reynolds. you set the bar just too damn high. hahah.
and i was thinking of getting one ... actually ... honestly i really like the colour and the colour of the 1500 ... that nice pale blue. whatever, im a sucker for wsd.
running: i might eventually make it out for running. i ran the other nite and it didnt hurt me too bad. the cardio is there. the body being able to take the incredible pounding. not. and i run in clothing. usually spandex of some sort. but clothing none the less. haha.
