This may be especially interesting for those who have had sports physio test or have participated in Jason's study.
Here are some of Lance's numbers from when he was at his peak in 2000 and some of my numbers so those of you who haven't been tested can ballpark.
VO2 Max: Lance Armstrong: 88.7 ml/kg/min Me: 64.1 ml/kg/min Average non active 20y male: 40ml/kg/min
Resting Heart Rate: Lance: 32bpm Me: 56bpm Average non active 20y male: 70-80bpm
Max Heart Rate: Lance: 201bpm Me: 200bpm * MHR is the least accurate fitness indicator ** keep in mind that Lance was 30 at the time of this test.
Body Fat % Lance: 4-5% Me: 18% Average 20y male: 15%
Sustained wattage for 75min during Time Trial: Lance: 379watts
Sustained wattage for approx 25mins: Me: 200-220 watts
Lactate Threshold % of MHR: Lance: 87% Me: 74%
Yea so there..
I think we can reject the null hypothesis that I am better than Lance Armstrong.

I`m missing my bike right now and dreaming of riding.. riding like i used to.. and winning races.
