Anyone else do slacklining?
For those not knowing this word, it refers to a spinoff of rockclimbing which employs webbing or rope tensioned to provide a balancing apparatus. Basically its tightrope with attitude.
I've gotten into this through a guy at my store (Adventure Guide) and its wicked-fun. Its also a sweet balance-improving activity and a solid core workout. I can just go down to the river and slack for like two hours; its not all that tiring.
Anyone wanting to Slack a bit or just give it a try gimme a shout. I've got a pretty basic setup and a great spot by the Gordon St. Bridge for hanging out, "surfing", and watching people feed ducks.
