Hi Guys, so I don't know if its prearranged as to who is driving who... and i hate to be annoying but I'm kind of stuck - I couldn't and still can't find my multi tool in order to switch my pedals on my two bikes (put eggbeaters on mtb) for tomorrow.
My house is ON the way from the timmies to the 401 (I live on oak st) and was wondering if i meet you guys at timmies still ( I am totally packed already minus swithcing my pedals) in the morning, would whoever is driving me mind stopping at my place quick and with the use of someone elses multitool do the quick 2 min switcharoo of my pedals in the morning?
I WOULD SUPERRRR appreciate it otherwise I guess I could just ride my bike without beaters although I won't race nearly as I could with them...

I got:
GUELPH
7th+ 8th+ 11th = 20+ 19 +16 = 55
5th+ 6th + 7th = 30 +25 +20 = 75
2nd+ 4th + 10th = 45 + 35 +17 = 97
1st+ 4th + 11th = 50 + 35 +16 =101
= 328
QUEENS:
3rd + 9th + 10th = 40+ 18 + 17 = 75
1st + 5th = 50 + 30 = 80
5th+ 7th + 8th = 30 + 20 + 19 = 69
3rd + 6th + 8th = 40 + 25 + 19 = 84
= 308

Its been an interesting last two races as sickness has brought just about every team down a notch...
On that note everyone make a conscious effort to take of yourselves in the next few weeks as getting Wicked seriously impedes race performance as we saw this weekend! This means eating healthy, getting enough sleep everynight and (I know this one is on the lame side) keeping the partying to a minimum. That last one is so easy to control and it can have a huge impact on your race performance.
Of course its important to keep your fitness up by riding and training in the next few weeks but resting your body is also important. Try to plan out your riding schedule in the week so that you are giving yourself adequate rest the couple days leading up to a race.
Lets keep our eyes on the prize UGC, that gap is only going to get smaller with preperation and focus!

All good points from Alex. One thing I'll add is that everyone should keep hitting the training, but don't over do it, and give yourself a rest if you're feeling tired.
Racing every week without fatigue setting in can be a challenge and training too much before a race is much worse than training less. If you're starting to feel run down, just go out for a shorter ride, or take an extra day off. As long as you get out a few times to keep your legs working, you'll maintain the fitness you have, and your fitness will likely improve just from the races themselves.
