ok so I am REALLY excited about finally having an o-cup in the north and showing everyone around my old stomping ground!! You will now understand why I was at first so confused by the term rock 'garden' .. haha .. but for serious ... it is going to be a great weekend and a challenging but super fun course ... so come on up!
my plan - I will probably be heading up on the Friday late because I will have to work until 6 ... I need to talk to my parents about what we can do for accoms but I am looking for interet/numbers so we can get a better idea of what we are dealing with.
If you have posted to the FB thread I have that info, if not and you are seeing this for the first time but are interested in coming let me know! 1st race, been racing the whole season or just want to come support your UGC bretheren there will be fun for all!! (keeping in mind that I have a BBQ, a lake and a hot tub to offer people on top of the wicked riding .. jus sayin')

I'll be meeting you out there Mariah and definitely stopping by for a swim.
If anyone is looking for a camp ground close to the race check out Centennial Park in Whitefish, its probably the best camp ground in the surroundings and only 8km away from the race.

From what I've herd and from riding the loop in the past it will most likely be up and down, so climbing for 3 km through double track, single track and a lot of bedrock, then a wicked fast technical downhill, once again in single track and bed rock. Sudbury has a reputation to be rocky so I'm thinking they will live up to the reputation. Its also worth mentioning that rocks in sudbury are washed us with sulphur so that they are black and rough... this gives them a lot of grip so that you can climb some of serious steeps on bedrock with no problems. should be fun!

James and I are likely leaving Saturday. We will have some spare seats and space for riders and bikes/equipment. We will confirm exact details as soon as possible.
Get stoked, this race is fast approaching!

James and I can definitely fit another rider/bike. I'm just working out my schedule, and as soon as it's all set and good, we'll post up the day and time we will be good to go.

Also bad news - the go-pro footy ended up being pointed super low with the XC riding position - was setup perfect for the DH bike which rides more upright - sorry boys Next time i'll have it Dialed!
