I'm hoping to get out to the trails in Ayr next Saturday, June 1. Not sure when but I could probably accommodate anything that isn't from 3:00 to 8:00p.m. and I can't guarantee anyone a ride at this time.
Pace will be slow because I'm still quite rusty, but these trails are tough so bring your climbing legs and don't be afraid of the technical downhills. I suspect there will be some lowering of saddles before some of the descents. I don't know the loop all that well but have it plugged into my phone's GPS.

Depending on the weather I may have to work on Saturday so I'll do my best to post an update Friday evening if that's not too late for you.
Do you have a car? I might be staying in Ayr Friday night.

Woo group ride!
11:00 would be perfect.
I'll keep you guys posted as to whether or not I can make it for sure and what the weather is like in Ayr Saturday morning.
P.S. I got two lights in the mail yesterday; 1000 lumen and 3000 lumen. If anyone is down for a night ride at G-Lake sometime let me know.

Really pumped for this! I always love discovering new trails. Weather looks like it may be a bit wet but lets go ahead with this anyway and if it gets really bad we'll make a game time decision.
Jacob, even if you dont end up coming(which I hope you do!) I dont know exactly where this trail system is. Could you post some directions?

I'm good to go for tomorrow!
Take the 401 West past Conestoga College. Get off at Cedar Creek Road (signs for Plattsville, Ayr) and turn right at the lights (takes you past a gas station, Papa Joe's, etc.).
Continue on Cedar Creek Road until you reach Dumfries Road. Turn Right at these lights . Continue along Dumfries for a short while until you get to Alps Rd. There's a grey barn with a red roof that says "Alpsview" right at the intersection so you can't miss it! Turn left onto Alps and keep going for a kilometre or so. You'll see the parking lot on the right hand side.
