Just saw this. Personally I feel 27.5 will be the be all end all size. 29ers will still exist as they're definitely faster in certain courses. An important thing to discern though is that 27.5 is not exactly in the middle of 26 and 29. In acceleration, the 27.5 is closer to the 26 than the 29. In weight, the 27.5 is closer to the 26 than the 29 In rollover, the 27.5 is close to the 29 than the 26. So far ive put in about a month on my 27.5 hard tail, and its noticeably faster in places such at twin ponds or guelph lake. It closer resembles the 26er anthem i used to ride. I can carve far easier through the tight and twisty stuff when compared to the 29er i rode previously. On a course such as hardwood, or mansfield, id go with a 27.5. For a wide open race, such as the lake to lake etc. Id go with a 29er. I have a fleet of demo bikes available for test. Perhaps we can arrange something. How about turning radius? I really need to demo a 27.5, but the 'bike agility' is what I really miss on a 29 (even if I'm faster overall).

the turning radius will be tighter.. the smaller wheel is much easier to use.

Thanks for the insight Aaron. Sounds like the 27.5 is an optimal option for a lot of courses.
I will message you about that demo night idea. We would be stoked to be able to try out the goods!

A demo night would be Wicked....I love my 29er but something with a tighter turning radius but similar roll-over characteristics would be awesome, especially without feeling like you're drifting a limo
