www.velogames.com/spring-classics/2014/index.php Pick a team before Milan San Remo on Saturday and join the league for UGC! The code is 20140833 Riders can be transferred later before other races.... Lets make this interesting, if we get enough people in on this, there should be a price for whoever wins at the end...possibly in form of beer.

Kristoff claims an unlikely sprint victory! Cav is left high and dry along with Sagan and Nibali try and fails at a breakaway....
Looks like we got a competition on our hands with me and Brian having some work to do!
If anyone else wants to join feel free to do so at anytime! You dont need any crazy pro cycling knowledge, its just fun to have some names thrown into the hat.
Next race is Dwars Door Vlaanderen on Wednesday and then E3 HarelBrak and Gent Welvelgem on the weekend...Will we see Sagan muscle to victory again?
How about Cancellera after yesterdays second place???...Time will tell; make your selection soon!

Niki Terpstra took top honours for OPQS at Dwars door Vlaanderen today. Anybody watch the race?

I was following it. I saw Boonens attack, he looked strong and seemed like he was just testing his legs.
Terpstra is a beast, didnt he attack on the Paterberg which has a max grade of like 20%?
I was following on like a real time update thing and I really thought the chase group would get him, they were only like 15 seconds down. I guess thats why radios are important lol

I made a couple valuable transfers last night for this race that probably didnt amount to anything.... lol

Followed along live today, but it looks like I really need to brush up on my Dutch. I knew Terpstra got away, but I had no idea what the rest of the race was doing behind him.
I now sympathize with people in other sports who are basically just there to fill in the numbers. But at least I'm not last!

The big one is this Sunday....Flanders! Get your transfers in before the race! Use them wisely as I would assume a lot of riders racing sunday will also be doing Paris Roubaix.

De Brabantse Pijl (La Flèche Brabançonne or the Brabant Arrow) is tomorrow... hurry and get your picks in before it's too late! Might not be a bad idea to consider the Ardennes classics if making any transfers because we only have 24 for the series and I know i've only got a handful left.

Top finish there by Gilbert, showing great panache. A whopping goose egg for me today in the top 10 and Mcwynne took top points with Phil-Gil. Amstel Gold Race is next on Sunday, should be a cracker with lots of top riders in good form with an eye on the Ardennes classics. Get pumped, these are some of the best races all year with courses that suit punchers and and a few lighter rouleurs as well as a handful of GC riders all at once.

We have the forums on auto correct. That is one of the words that gets autocorrected.
Another is "getting dru nk" it becomes getting in the cabbage.

Also; i just got an email from velogames. Apparently I went over the transfers limit because of a bug in the system and my picks for last race were erased. So I don't get any points for last race

They reversed my transfers back to last Sunday's, as if this last Wednesday never happened. I've made my picks for Amster/Fleche/Liege, but I'm stuck with those from now on.

Gilbert only won 2 races all season last year... naturally I don't pick him for the Ardennes and of course he wins 2 in a row... no transfers left... the agony

Better hope Dan Martin kicks ass at LBL/Fleche, as that may be your only chance of winning now, as we share most of the same picks

Anybody else hate Dan Martin's left pedal after Liege today?

Felt so bad for the guy. Ive become a big fan of him this season.
Ive really dropped the ball on this pool, havent transferred in ages(just no time). How many races we got left??? Looks like Mcwynne is pulling away
