Hey guys,
I've mentioned it before to some of you but the Midland Mountainview 9 Hour super fun race is happening in Midland, ON, on Saturday August 9th, which happens to be the saturday before the O-Cup being hosted at mountainview the following sunday (august 17th), for those of you who are into that. So basically it's a 9 hour race, laps are about 30 minutes and you can enter solo or with just about any number of teammates. There are 4 bonus events that each team must complete (pie eating, giant slip n slide, etc.) that can earn you reduced lap times, or else are just hilarious to watch/ partake it. There's also cash prizes for the winners of the events and I think fastest male and female lap or something like that, and then a solid amount of draw prizes from the local bikeshop as well. Mountainview is my home club and I'm pretty tight with the race organizer and I think it'd be super cool to have a bunch of you guys as teammates! I live 5 minutes from the venue so anyone interested in coming can stay at my house if you want to make a weekend of it (yunno, as long as I know you
