Hannah here ... Anyone feel like taking a major rookie out on a ride?? Its a little wet but mud is fun :-)
Maybe head out on the Gorba trails? I'd love to get some practice in so I can do the U Cup.
Cheers Hannah

A little note to those who are not a fan of the mud, the trails on Kortright (which say bikes are not allowed anyways...) can get REALLY muddy.
From what I can remember, the guelph lake trails are pretty decent expect for the first couple hundred meters where there are some small lakes on the trails.
Wouldn't mind some riding though. what time is best?

Or we could even tag along with aaron on his road/trails ride.. they say road riding is one of the best ways of training for mtb racing too. I think the reason for that is road riding requires more pedalling in general, so if you're good at road ri ding, you'll have great endurance to begin with. Throw in some technical ability from regular mtb rides, and you're all set.

I am pretty much up for anything ... I'd really just like to touch base with everyone and see whats going on with the university cup... And see if I can get some tips so I don't kill myself while racing!
Cheers Hannah
