I want to go to the 1st U-cup races Sat/Sun; however, I have no car. I might be able to get a bike rack. I actually come with a bit of a crew as well. I have another rider and non-rider who also want to do the full weekend, camping etc, but have no car. We all did the Ganaraska 24Hours. We can share camping equipment + help organize food, and help pay gas. Also, I have an extra mountain bike (will fit smaller woman) if anyone is w/o a bike and wants to trying racing (cage pedals on it). So, if you have a car, want to camp... please reply.

alright, I have an interesting story as far as my car goes....
It's a big gas guzzling suv from the 80s, so I can fit 5 people with gear. BUT, I don't have a bikerack. In the past, I've stacked bikes up in the trunk (taking the front wheel's off, I've stacked 4 bikes in there. I have unfortunately, also broken a spoke on my rear wheel due to this stacking business. So if there are bikerack people out there with extra space on their racks, I can drive 4 additional people, with essentially all the gear they could ever ask for. (I once took a week long trip with 5 people, and we brought 2 foam mattresses with us...). So if people have minivans which can also store bikes inside, I can probably take the gear that would otherwise have been in the vans. Same goes with the SUV's with int ernal bike carriers of some sort.

Kevin,
congrats on the Ganaraska 12 solo, I recall talking to you going up that one long (annoying) hill, I only did 5 laps tho, so its not really comparable. I'm a friend of Brian, and John. As I said, I can (hopefully) get a car rack, but I'm also OK with stacking (I'm quite experienced at it as well.) It would be helpful if we knew who was interested in going, who had cars, bikeracks, and space for other riders. For anyone reading this, feel free to leave these details.

Ah, awesome. I had feeling something about what you were saying sounded familiar to me. Congrats to you and your team for a good finish too btw.
Did you do the U-cup races last year?

I'm planning on doing the U-cup race this weekend as well but am still not sure if i will be going for both days. I will definitly be hitting the sunday XC. I have a car with a roof rack but i only have two trays. If anyone else has an extra mount we could put a few more on my roof. I will let everyone know ASAP if i'm going to camp for the night sat.
