With superb riding weather in the upcoming months, we're going to have a lot of rides being posted.
To avoid confusion I suggest posting in the following format so that new members and old members alike, will understand whats going on.
For the title, try make it clear and succinct... something like:
Wednesday March 21st 9pm, Urban Assault Ride OR Thursday March 22nd 90k Race Pace Luther Lake Ride
etc etc.
This way when someone checks the forum, everything is there and easy to understand. Clever witticisms are nice, but probably not useful.
Come next semester, or even later this semester, when we have some fixed scheduled rides, I will sticky them in the forum.
Sorry to be a bit of a stifler..but im sure you agree with me when I say these ride forums are getting confusing.
Lastly, When you post a ride, you are 'unofficially' the ride leader of that ride. Being the ride leader, you should KNOW the route you will be taking and you should also be looking out for the people on your ride, this is especially important when we have bigger turnouts. Not everyone is familiar with the trails and roads around Guelph, so please do your best to make sure everyone is taken into account.
thanks Aaron
