Hey mtbers I know Guelph Lake is a convenient place to get to, but sometimes we just need something fresh to ride, and a place to work on specific skills. A few years back I started building some singletrack in the bush on the farm (I liveabout a 10 minute drive from the movie theatre), but my motivation slowly ran out and the trail has since deteriorated. Would anyone be interested in helping me build a training loop? There is not a lot of climbing to be done, so originally I wanted to make it a bit of a skills park, with ladders, berms, rollers and a rock garden or two. It wouldn't be a very long, but even the original trail was a wood workout after a few laps. I haven't updated this album in a long time, but this URL links to some rough plans from 4 years ago. I like the idea man, we were just talking about doing something like this last weekend... Let me know when would be a good time to check things out. How many acres do you have available for this?

Ya I live very close to Walkerbrae.
I am going to the whole bush is maybe 10-15acres, but that's really a shot in the dark. The useable building land is maybe 70% of that because of some the flood plains and bogs.
Before anyone comes I should probably get permission from my dad first too.

Sounds good man, you should probably print out a google maps of your property too to trace where you wanna make the trail... given you got the ok from your paps.

I'm definitely in and would love to help. Just let me know when you're thinking of getting some work done and if I'm free, I'm in.
