The snow is melting and everyone is jumping back on two wheels as fast as possible. Here are a couple things to keep in mind this spring:
1. The trails are still pretty wet. We are not having the early warm spring like last year and there's still snow to melt. Trying to show your macho side by going out and struggling through mud and water will only destroy and erode the trail for the rest of the season. I would never condone this kind of behavior but RIDE ON THE ROAD INSTEAD!
2. If you are racing this season and are an independent racer, you cannot use UoGcycling or University of Guelph as a club affiliation for a race. We are not an official club/team within the OCA and we only race as a team in the Fall during the University Cup Series.
*phew*...OK that is all, good luck on your exams!

COMPLETE AND TOTAL EMPHASIS ON 2. 1 is important as well, exercise a little patience and keep those trails intact. But please don't put down UGC for anything official or racing besides the 6 races in the fall regarding the University Cup.
